A native of Hodgenville, Kentucky, Melissa attended LaRue County Schools and graduated Valedictorian of the LaRue County High School Class of 1987. She went on to graduate from Campbellsville University (KY) in 1992 earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis Accounting. Melissa attained her CPA certification in 2001. In the fall of 2015, Melissa began to dream of her own accounting firm and for the next four years, laid the groundwork to make that dream become a reality. As the daughter and granddaughter of two hard working dairy farmers, Melissa knows the value of hard work and strives to provide a unique approach to each client’s needs.
In her spare time, Melissa enjoys scrapbooking, cardmaking, photography, gardening and animal husbandry. Melissa has won several ribbons for her scrapbook pages at the Kentucky State Fair. Melissa resides on a small farm outside Rineyville with her husband Dale.
